Well back in the 1400's some people could be buried alive, so just in case when people were placed in the coffin they attached a rope/string to the persons hand and the other end was attached to a little bell on top of the grave, so if the person was still alive they could ring the bell.

There are a few good images online of the view through this window, and it seems that nature got inside the open space and grew over the corpse. Unfortunately there isn't much to see anymore, but on the bright side nature got to do its job gracefully and for a while people could see it happening.

He did that bc back in the 1800's they aint have the stuff we have today so sum ppl would actually get buried alive so they did that to make sure they wasnt buried alive-

He was buried in a casket, now long gone. There was also a bell with a string that went to his hand. And a air toob, both now long gone🌹

Even if you did take a flashlight you wouldn't be able to see him.

It's all filled up with water. Now

visit it at midnight and knock on the glass and he may appear!!!

Just heat that glass with a blowtorch until all the condensation is gone.

Wow he died and was able to put a window on top of his grave. Now that's a great trick.

if I die later, I want to die in a transparent coffin filled with preservative water and on top is a window that can be opened and closed

So the reason why the tomb has a window because there was this boy who died from a yellow fever around the 18th Century although he was afraid of death and knew he was gonna be buried with no light, so his parents honoured his wish and put a window in his tomb.
