These were the first three passes I've run in my mostly stock Mercury Capri RS. I'm quite happy with the times considering all I did was hop in and drive.

Car is fairly stock. 302 with the SROD 4 speed stick. The only modifications are an Edelbrock 1406 carburetor, equal length shorty headers, off road h-pipe, flowmasters, and 3.73 gears. Cheap normal street tires. That's all off the top of my head.

Great video! These things were everywhere when I was a teenager. I've embarrassed a few at the stop lights back in the day. These and mustangs were the guys to beat.

I was running a hot 78 scirocco with short gears 1-2 was amazing, the rest not so much. Perfect car to stoplight race.
