UPDATED! Sinnoh Locations in Hisui!

I made a video awhile back that had all my theorized locations of Sinnoh locations on the Hisui Region map before the game had come out. This is my updated map that I made after having completed the game.

10:17 I like to think the statue of the Dialgia/Palkia fusion was made as a symbol of the unity to mark the coming together of the Diamond and Pearl clans and was kept through to the modern Sinnoh as a story of peace and good will to others passed down through history, abandoning the separate statues we see in this game.

I'm just getting into Legends Arceus and this comparison's been on my mind since Diamond was my first Pokemon game. Seeing details like the Mossy Rock in the Obsidian Fieldlands just got me curious to learn more. My ears perked up at the music that played in the Heartwood because it sounded just like Eterna Forest! It's the little details between Hisui and Sinnoh that really make me appreciate the world-building that went into making this game and playing into the lore of the region, even if it's not an exact replica.

LOVE LOVVEEEE this breakdown, it was exactly what I was looking for! Super thorough and I love seeing those connections made. Keep it up!

The NPC with the Moth tells you that they turn camps into Villages... jubilife village is the Heights Camp. Oborough city is highlands Camp. Eterna city is summit camp. Hearthhome city is the Mirelands Camp. Pastoral city is the bogbound Camp sunnyshore city is the coastlands camp

Great video! I believe Primeval Grotto and the Celestic Trail outside it is what turns into Celestic Town and its cave ruins. Primeval Grotto has a major part in PLA and is said to be the origin of Sinnoh, so i feel it makes perfect sense it turns into a town that is considered so important to the lore of Sinnoh.

Update: Later in the game, Beauregard says "I hear some Galaxy folks plan to turn one of the base camps into a new village." -- So I guess that my pet theory could acturally be true!

Like the breakdown! Clean video too! Agreed with lots of points. I can tell you’re just starting out on youtube, but you have great potential! I wish you luck on making more entertaining videos!

Maybe I'm oversimplifying, but it seems like many of the Sinnoh cities you look for on the Hisui map are pretty consistent with the base camps where the player can rest (pokecenter) and craft (pokemart) (both mostly right next to each other) -- this works well, for example, for the Obsidian Fieldlands and maybe it'll help you figure out the rest, too?

My own explanation for some of the Obsidian Fieldland locations is that modern day Jubilife is located on the major island in the fieldlands, and the original Jubilife Village became Canalave, which is why it contains the library and historical documents

Celestic town is actually really cool is at the Clamberclaw Cliffs. The litte body of land that pops out of the water becomes a whole town. If you face north you'll see a big mountain just like in bdsp where there is a cave now

I’m genuinely starting to think that Jubilife Village becomes Canalave City and the Deertrack Heights area is where modern-day Jubilife City is. It explains a ton of the weird location layouts considering that these games take place ~200 years ago and there wouldn’t be enough time for huge natural changes. The Canala bridge in the center of the village that passes over the Milkiwa river, which by proxy connects out into the ocean, is almost perfectly lined up with Canalave cities layout and all of the boats we see pass by out into the ocean.

Florao... Is one of the NPCs that moves in after you quell the second Noble. Nothing is named after him.

You forgot Eternal Forest

That area where the big tree is in legends Arceus

Around there somewhere that old mansion got built eventually with spirits of old family

It goes to show that quite some time has passed

Nature's Pantry turns into the Trophy Garden! Idk, it just lines up with pikachu spawn areas.

I know it’d be a lot of work but it’d be really cool to see where you would place the Sinnoh routes in Hisui. I believe Icebound falls in the alabaster icelands is route 216

Solaceon city is the Diamond settlement. Veilstone city is the Ancient Retreat

So... looking at the Sinnoh map and Hisui map

Jubilife village becomes Canalave town (For more reasons than just the naming convention, since the placement of Lake Verity is also important)
Sandgem flats most likely didn't become Sandgem Town, since that is kinda impossible looking at the Sinnoh map as well. Sandgem Flats most likely became route 201, since that lies North of Twinleaf Town and East of Sandgem. Sandgem Town also lies more towards the river as well, so i think Sandgem Town lies more East from Lake Verity than South.
The Golden Lowlands probably became Hearthome City.

However, the problem is the placement of Lake Valor on the Hisui Map.

Lake Valor on the Sinnoh Map, is northeast from Pastoria. However, both Hearthome and Solaceon are on the Northwest of Lake Valor on the Sinnoh map, while they would be Southwest of Lake Valor on the Hisui Map

There is also the thing that the in-game map looks significantly different from the region artstyle map as well.

I personally think the Ancient retreat is an area that used to exist but upon development of the region it either was discovered abandoned and was just destroyed and repurposed or once Cogita finished her duty of leading the lost one, ended up leaving this area to never be discovered/Died there with no need for another guide and is juts an area that is inaccessible to this day due to thick growth in the area. She has a farm and a stream runs through it so it has fertile soil that can be taken advantage of. Its just my theory though

Actually it's the shaymin is from Sword and Shield. Darkrai is BDSP. I can't access that request because I haven't played sword and shield

I just realized in the broader map there is a small gap between 2 mountain ranges where hearthome could fit. Meaning the heartwood lead to hearthome. It was just outside the city. In addition the trail that goes to the Mirelands is very likely where the building goes to leave hearthome and head to Solaceon.

You forgot to mention in the Colbalt Coastlands you visit Sendoff Spring which is the 4th Lake of Sinnoh and its south east of Veilstone City in modern day Sinnoh and just to let you know Firespit Island is actually Stark Mountain.
