The guy who plays Art should win an academy award. He is absolutely terrifying without saying a word. He scares you with manurisms and body language alone

I think of Art as more of a demon who used to be a human being, but was sent to h e l l and put back on this Earth to cause havoc, and Sienna is the only one who can stop him.

I remember watching his first appearance.

I saw that face and was like “oh yeah….he a VILE one”

Art's motivation seems to be a dark reflection the clown persona he dons. He's a performer, an entertainer, an ARTist if you will. Notice that he almost always shows off his kills to other people, or applies a specific theme to his killings.

I think Handsome Jack from the Borderlands franchise would be a cool pick

I thought the terrifier franchise was way too gory to get main stream. But apparently not. A surprise hit i never expected would get huge. It reminds me of the John Wick franchise where it was a genre film that arrived late to the era of action hero protagonist, but ended up an international sensation, where each installment out does the previous. Terrifier is that for the slasher genre.

I’m a diehard Terrifier fan, having watched all 3 movies now 10+ times, and I never even thought that Art might actually dislike his new Demon master. I knew he got aggravated, but it’s a very interesting thought because he seems artificially placed against Sienna at the end of 3, when he definitely would just prefer to kill people at random like he had been doing.

The Terrifier series is one of the greatest underdog stories ever

Thing I really love about Art is how even in spite of what Leone has said and confirmed about him, the presentation of whatever kind of story Leone is trying to tell with him is the perfect horrific execution of 'show, don't tell'.

Like I was thrown for a loop when I first noticed how his eyes changed when he was taunting that poor girl in the shower scene for what she said about wanting to know what it's like looking into Art's eyes and seeing if there was a soul or anything behind them, I thought I just wasn't looking too deeply into it at first but no it turns out his eyes weren't at all like that before T3. Which adds another layer to the scene mentioned before, as that would've been Art's way of telling us the audience that something has changed about him, that there is, in fact, no such soul within him and if you weren't scared before you should be now.

My favourite part of Art is seeing how much inspiration came from Robbie Rotten.

David Howard Thornton was an understudy for Steffan Karl Steffanson and you can really see it in how Art carries himself and his mannerisms and how...unserious he is about himself

Clowns and Mimes are an under-appreciated job. I also like them for what they’ve given us in culture in general.

My favorite thing is that he accepts defeat knowing damn well he’s coming back.
