What I find fascinating about art is that he’s silent like Michael and Jason, but he’s full of personality like Freddy, Ghostface, or Pennywise. He conveys so much without saying a word.

I got the chance to meet him today at Comic Con, he’s a really sweet guy. I’ve mentioned how much I love his performance as Art and how it Terrified me (no pun intended) and he said “well I did my job”

I love when everyone talks about Art staying in character but we all know what he would really do if he stayed in character.

It's been said so many times already in the comments, but it's hard to overstate just how perfect David is as Art, this is Robert Englund levels of perfect casting. Seeing even the interviewer feeling uneasy around him in such a casual setting really shows off how both Leone's design and David's personification have come together to make such a brilliantly unsettling monster.

Art absolutely deserves to become the next horror icon, publically recognized right there along side the likes of Freddy, Jason, Pinhead and Michael Myers. I simply can't wait to see where this franchise goes in part 3.
