At this point, Disney should just fully go for horror movies lol

Also, Wendy is, as the oldest child of her family, more mature than others her age might be. She's clearly seen as a mother figure to both her brothers and the lost boys. She was even brought to Neverland to be a mother (this is more obvious in the play). Problem is, she was too good at it and was already growing up.

I read a theory that hook was probably a former lost boy who escaped Peter Pan’s execution of the aging and that’s why he really had it out for the kid

Now I'm thinking that captain hook is actually the hero of this movie😂

Just watched the 1953 movie last night. I found it amazing Tinkerbell literally plotted and tried to kill Wendy and within an hour of meeting, just because Peter was chatting with her? And then was willing to turn over their hiding place to pirates just to get her shanghaid. That's one jealous bloodthirsty dame, lol

I think Captain Hook is the hero of the story, he wanted to stop Peter Pan from kidnapping more kids.

I have a theory though what if the Pirates are all lost boys that managed to get away from Peter? That would explain why they want to kill them so bad instead of just leaving. It also explains why Captain Hook always stops before he could kill Peter. Like literally every single time he could simply thrust his sword and kill him he hesitates. They all seem to hesitate or not try their best to get him when he’s around. Hell even the crocodile they don’t even TRY to get rid of him. What if they grew up with him when he was a baby and so therefore have an emotional connection with the crocodile as well? Just their behavior towards Peter and the crocodile don’t make any sense to me. If for some reason they’re pirates that feel like they just don’t have it in them to kill why don’t they just leave the island? Because they’re wanting to get through to Peter or kill him so that Peter doesn’t try and kill even more boys. That’s why they don’t leave because they have a connection with Peter they grew up with him and they want to try and get through to him so that he doesn’t try and kill them anymore they can come back and just all be happy together again.

No, the crocodile actually just literally ate a clock and that’s why it makes a ticking sound

You should watch once upon a time! Season 3 has a really cool, dark twist on neverland

Even reading the books you see how dark he is and it makes him an even more interesting character

I used to be obsessed with Peter Pan and still am but I have always thought something off with it. Especially if you read the original book…..😧
As well as the story of the writer. It is quite dark…

Remember when Peter Pan was evil in Once Upon a time? I think the writers saw that theory and decided to bring it to life

I actually really love this theory as theres always two sides to a coin and this would highlight it. Not only as most villains believe they are a hero in their own right but more because people accept it due to the way the story was told... Similar to how media can manipulate people. I always thought the story was a metaphor for the want to never grow up and lose that childhood innocence and face the responsibilities and struggles of adulthood. This theory metaphorically speaking could mean alot but I like time is inevitable and to fight it is your downfall. I am overthinking it but it's deep either way. Hook trying to kill a phsycopathic murderer portrayed as a hero whilst being promoted as the villain, knowing it but still fights an enemy with youth on his side and can fly is awesome!
