What I like about this is that it teaches people raid encounters for bosses so that's more people in LFGS who know the bosses


I am reading the replies and I meant to rephrase this. I Like this because people can be taught multiple encounters from different raids so they open up a wider variety of people to help in LFGS

Yes it’s recycled BUT it’s free to play so people who don’t have the DLC can experience some of the raid encounters and possibly decide they want more of what the DLC content has to offer

The tormentors are going to be challenging af during the contest mode week too. Makes me think the final shape raid is going to be hard af on launch. With all the new enemy types that can suspend and freeze you. With tormentors in the mix as well. Gonna be crazy

I like it too. 56 years old, my clan mates asked me to help. Finished in 56 minutes, all time trials done.

I now have two groups fighting for me to be on their team for the next worlds first raid.

I've been playing D2 on and off since it came out and I've played exactly one raid (spire of stars I think) I think not knowing the Mechanics is gonna keep a lot of people away.

It can be hard to get the raid budd together so while i understand not making it a permanent mode, i hope it becomes an annual event

People complaining about not being able to do it because they don’t know what to do or people won’t teach them. Like bro, it’s supposed to be harder versions of the normal shit. Unless you don’t have the DLC for the normal raids, just go do them before trying pantheon. You’re under light and timed, people expect you to know what to do.

I mean free to play, get raid loot for free, learn encounters for newbies and the escalating difficulty later on for harder core players. It’s really a win win, props to Bungie with a banger release overall

I’m glad people with friends and groups they can usually run with did it. Sucks for all the solo players that are either brave to do a LFG or don’t have the will to do it with randoms wiping because someone can’t get gaze, or run or do a single encounter.

Been playing since D1 and never have done a raid 😢
