I've live here in Florida by Treasure Island. I've been here all my life, 66 years. The gulf temp here in the summer has always been 89 to 90 degrees. The water temp is not any warmer than it always has been. We get hit by hurricanes. I've been through so many of them and seen a lot of damage. As I grew up, everyone decided to move down here. The only thing that has changed is that now there's more people here in the way when these storms hit.

Is Asheville really worth rebuilding? The Asheville, North Carolina metropolitan statistical area (MSA) had a real gross domestic product (GDP) of $22 Million in 2022. The MSA includes Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, and Madison Counties🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Good Luck with all that....And the GDP of Pinellas County is only $66 Million, so why would we give hundreds of Billions to build them back up when it is just going to happen again next year or two.
