I noticed more more foreigner decided to live and work in Bali. This made huges changes on our land, 1.000 H rice field turned into concrete, more traffic more waste produced. What i worry is the significant changed on our culture and nature. Lets love Bali, its nature, culture and the people. Bali for all

I love seeing this! He's absolutely right about making sure your income is stable before going to Bali, he looks very happy with his lifestyle now. Better to go where you're appreciated and not just tolerated.

I moved to Bali in 2021 and everything he said is 100% true! With my US student stipend, I was living like upper middle class in Bali. My grades were the best they’d ever been and my mental health skyrocketed as a student and the Balinese people were so accepting. I was home 💗✨

Good to hear that he can escalate his economy in Bali. But many doesn't know, foreigners in Bali fail to respect the local values. Not all, but quite many. I hope this guy can bring much prosperity for the locals without changing the legacy of Bali.

As an Indonesian, Bali welcomes everyone, as long as you respect its local culture and heritage which is considered very sacred as it is the only remaining place in Indonesia which still adheres to the ancestral faith of the Indonesian people.

Indonesian here, respect for coming with the right visa (investor one)! Too many “digital nomads” abusing their tourist visas this past decade.

Greetings from West Africa. I did the same . Left Toronto Canada on Dec 2019 and moved to Ivory Coast. Life is amazing here and lots of opportunities. Smart.

Also moved here from the U.S. and love it. I’ve been here for 3 years and don’t see myself ever moving back to the U.S. for any reason. This island it special.

Actually getting out of the United States to see other countries made me realize how much better the rest of the world really is compared to the richest country (US) It may not be the richest countries, but the quality of life is much healthier and happier imo

Earning a 140K USD per year in Bali is like earning a million USD per year in the US.

I like how he said “I created a life that I wanted » - he made a point to be centered and near nature as a natural mean to lift depression. Even though he did not state it- he’s is spiritual.

It's good for him, i am Indonesian living in Jakarta, but i do go to Bali 5-10 times a year since i also own a couple of restaurants in Bali, but even for us Indonesians, going to Bali is like the best self healing moments, no matter how many times i go to Bali, i never get bored at all.

I’m 65, my husband is terminally ill, and his $3 million estate will go to his son. I want to spend the rest of my days traveling — will I have enough money

I am sitting here grinning over the fact that he mentioned "Go-Jek", one of the most successful Indonesian digital companies. Thanks for casting him and sharing what his life has been like in Bali. Appreciate the positive messages :)

This is by far the most honest opinion about Bali. He looks genuinely happy with life. Spread the love and positivity. God bless you
