I seriously doubt the majority of people in the world are even aware of the seriousness of the situation. In my own bubble, friends & family that is, literally no-one seems to really comprehend. Shocking really, because the consequences of war breaking out over Taiwan are HUGE and will be felt worldwide.

Let me say that I sincerely hope it won't get that far. I mean, China would have so much more to gain by having a good cultural and economical relationship with Taiwan. But who am I, citizen of the tiny country of The Netherlands with a population of roughly 18 million people... 😬
