my province is 99% powered from renewable energy, we get our electricity from our hydroelectric dams, wind farms and solar farms, one of our towns have built a hydrogen plant that produces green hydrogen, the province is in a good spot to be a leader in renewable energies

You don't say that mostly hidrogen produced for glass industries don't come from wster electrolise but the organic quimical reaction. The other is by solar panels and eletrolise

I would say using the excess electric to make this fuel is better than covering the place in lithium ion battery which I think are not good for the environment when used they catch fire and the release of toxic gases and pollutants will do moor harm than goog
