Quick summary.
this ipad as of today can be 32 or 128 GB it has 3 GB of ram and lasts about 5 years. It can be connected to an apple keyboard and a gen 1 apple pen can be used. you can gt in silver, space gray, or gold .

The new iPad looks like great value! The rear camera is mostly used to scan documents. This is mainly a students’ “laptop”

I have this, i got it on October 12, 2019. This iPad is definitely worth it for the price.

As old as its internals might be, it still holds up well for me. I have a 128GB model paired with a keyboard made by Brydge, and the Microsoft Arc Mouse, plus the Apple Pencil. And I must say, i don’t need to bring my laptop anymore as most of the things that I need is already on my iPad. And today, I created a 5 minute video using my phone, then transferring them directly to my iPad (without going to iTunes, i used a flash memory to directly transfer the file from my android phone to the iPad), worked with video editing, and made some backing tracks with Garageband (again using the iPad), and I can guarantee that it can still perform as good as an iPad Pro. Maybe not as fast, but the iPad 7 can definitely do the job.

I bought my Ipad 7th Gen in Dec 2019, and it randomly turned off while in use a few weeks ago. It has not turned on since, and its surprising because the iPad is in perfect condition, has never been dropped considering I've been using it from my home desk since I purchased it. Considering this and what was mentioned in the video, it explains why the ipads 7th generation are having these power issues.
What's surprising is Apple isn't doing anything about these issues or even addressing them. I went into the apple store and the only test they performed was to see if the battery was dead, which is extremely disappointing from a high-end tech company that should at least try a minimum effort to fix these products, one because of the environmental factors and two because of customer loyalty, most of us will look away from buying another iPad if the cost of it is more than $500 and they don't even live for 2 years.

I got the iPad air and the screen broke in less than a year. To replace the screen: $350 - Apple told me its better to buy a new one.

I have this iPad now, and I use it primarily as a supplement with my laptop. I only bought this bc it was on sale and I got further discount bc I’m a student. I use primarily for note taking or some entertainment but it’s not a laptop replacement. I still prefer writing papers and multi tasking on a laptop but as a student this was a great purchase bc it increased my productive and allowed me to store all my notes and books which allow for portability. This to me is a student focused iPad bc of the price and size. Perfect notebook size and I highly recommend.

Meh, I’m satisfied with the 9.7 128 GB IPad.

I personally have no issue with the non-laminated display, if I crack the glass which I have, instead of paying the ridiculous £256.44 I only paid £33 (including P&P), sure the screen is not super durable, but its decent and I could buy 6 screen replacements for the price of an official screen repair from apple, with a little money left over for whatever I want.

I don't understand why people are complaining over 32GB, my phone has 16GB and half more of the GB is a win-win for me, but it just depends on the person :)
