Wife was ready to throw TV away then I found your video
Worked on my Sony 50” from 2018. The ribbon cables are different (more of them and smaller) but trial and error unplugging different cables and powering up, I found I could get one side working like in video. Then guessed on covering one side of ribbon cable (was wrong side so screen did lines again) moved tape to other side of ribbon and we back in business. Thank you for sharing your knowledge 12:23 shows example of taping over some of the ribbon cable pins.
