Tofu scramble is a wonderful savory breakfast and lunch recipe because it’s easy to make and delicious. Its texture is soft and creamy, similar to scrambled eggs.

We’ll show you how to make a base recipe for tofu scramble with a few simple ingredients; it's a great way to try tofu if you are new to it!

⭐️ Ingredients
1 tablespoon (15 grams) olive oil
8 ounces (250 grams) firm tofu
¾ cup (180 grams) non-dairy milk plain and unsweetened. We recommend oat or soy milk.
½ teaspoon turmeric powder
¾ teaspoon salt or more to taste
2 twists of black pepper
¼ teaspoon black salt or kala namak. Optional for an eggy flavor. Add more for a more eggy taste.

Would be very nice in cases like egg allergies or where mixing poultry & eggs (at least when served hot) might be taboo on similar grounds to Jews & mixing meat & dairy (at least if served hot)

Because I cannot eat soy tofu, I make my tofu out of red lentils.
