I've watched a lot of your videos & I can say you know what you're talking about. Myself, I've been retired from doing drywall after 40 years since 2011. By watching your videos, it brings back a lot of memories of how I finished drywall which is exactly the same way. Favor: Please keep it up with showing novices how to go about finishing drywall. Take care, Phil Anderson-So. Indiana P.S. Nice presentations!

Great tips. Almost every metal corner in my house has cracked along the seam from the ceiling to the floor. The house is 30 years old and the joints started cracking after about 10 years. They didn't use tape on top of the metal corner. I'll be repairing every one using your method. I'm a little nervous about how they will look because I'm not a pro but I'm going to give it a shot. I can at least do as well as the original builder if I follow your instructions. Thank you.

That's exactly the right way to do it. Mr kilt guy. I've been doing drywall for 16 years. Even on new work or repair work I do it the same way and I always always take my corner bead. And I've seen over the years I'd never cracks. My brother taught me everything there was about sheetrock. And one of the bad areas in homes were cracks is on tray ceilings. But if drywall finishers would do it right and tape all their corner bead that would never be a problem 👍👍💪💪. I always enjoy watching your videos you are the real deal

I was able to repair a corner bead after watching your videos. Will have more to do I’m sure. Really appreciate your instructions on how do drywall properly. Learning a ton. A lot more to do while I renovate our home. Keep those videos coming. I know we have a lot more to learn.

New homeowner here and really loving your videos! I am the “DIWife” around here and although I have grown up doing little basic things, have no idea about fixing drywall, etc. but really enjoying learning. Have a huge crack in an outer corner of the bonus room ceiling to contend with and this video is just what I needed! I’ll let you know how it goes!

Thanks for this tutorial. I’m renovating a rental property, and having a friend help me with everything that’s within our skill sets, to avoid paying contractors, particularly right now while inflation is through the roof and materials are so expensive. I’ve done minor drywall repairs in the past, and this taught me some new tricks.

Thanks for this. The metal was loose, so I dug out old mud and screwed down the metal. Then I mudded over using the FibaFuse tape. First layer looks good already. Just need one or two more coats. Thanks!

Nice job cant even see it was damaged to begin with it looks better then it did when it was originally done the center didn't have a dip in it anymore like it did.

Or am I right it had a dip right?

Great video! I honestly can’t believe we’re still using mud like this for things in 2022 with no alternative to finish corners. I’ve totally lost faith in the fact that we may ever have flying cars, when we are still mudding our houses like the Pueblo Indians did nearly almost 1000 years ago. Oh well, at least we have social media/TikTok right??

Great content. Thanks for your videos. Question - I noticed that you prefilled, set the tape and then did a first coat of hot mud all in the same go. Is it not necessary to let the mud set between steps?
