The footage you showed for Sonic Adventure 2 is actually from a spinoff game called Shadow the Hedgehog. Also it's not exactly the same way. In Sonic Adventure 2 Shadow didn't say a word at the first meeting

I wonder if Sonic will attempt to use the Chaos Emeralds to try and fight Shadow, but Shadow gets his hands on the Master Emerald (since it's the same size as the Chaos Emeralds in the games) and slows down time with Chaos Control or uses it to become Super Shadow
