Microsoft's new Surface Go 2-in-1 tablet-cum-laptop starts at just £379, making it a lot more affordable than the Surface Pro - but is the Go good value, or too much of a compromise? Our full Surface Go review follows several weeks of testing, diving into the performance, battery life, best and worst features and any problems we've had.

Microsoft offers two models and this is the more premium version, with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage - good news if you want to do basic gaming. Besides those boosted specs, the Surface Go is the same in every other area - you get a compact 10-inch screen, the same great Surface design, and support for the optional keyboard and stylus for drawing, sketching etc (£100 each in the UK). Battery life is decent for a 2-in-1 convertible and I had no issues with performance either, while the best Windows 10 features such as Hello are present and correct.

Costco has a Surface Pro 6 i5 with keyboard and pen included for $799.00 and they give u a 2 year warranty! Can’t beat that deal!

You said that it comes with Windows S**T but you can update to Windows 10 to install all apps. I like that very much and my question is can it run Adobe Lightroom CC or it will be just better to get the Surface Pro 6?
