Nose Cauterizing

My trip to get my nose cauterized due to my many nose bleeds.

awesome procedure to end nosebleeds! i had this done when i was 15 years old (left nostril bled severely since toddler years). my b-day is today and at age 38, my nose has never, ever bled again! i remember some discomfort (gauze packed in the nose was probably the worst) but, very well worth it....no side effects at all. my doc was fantastic! do this if you are tired of nosebleeds...

One alternative I've found to getting rid of nosebleeds is a sinus rinse every few days.

i use to have nose bleeds everyday when i was young, ever since i got my nose cauterized, i never had a nose bleed since. (no it does not hurt when you go through the procedure it may itch a lot after though)

I just had my right nostril done 2days ago and I had nosebleeds daily for almost 3 weeks. It has bled slightly twice since after the procedure but I've read thatits normal so long as its not very heavy or continuous.

How unprofessional of the ent. First, cauterizing both nostrils simultaneously can cause a hole in septum!! Second, she handed him a tissue and said he can blow his nose with it- big no no for first week after treatment because it can rupture seal. He should file a complaint!!

Had mine done today, absolutely recommend it to all those, like me, who put it off. Just a slight uncomfortable feeling whilst it's being done.

i got Empty nose syndrome and severe nasal nerve pain from this exact method!!!! from RAVOR CURIS radiofrequency to turbinates and septoplasty and fess
THE ENT SAID IT WAS TOTALLY SAFE.
Now ents cant help me at all.
There are 1000s of people I know with empty nose syndrome
And many more i dont know. Be very careful
