Lets create some Speed line particle effects. A warp drive effect, a classic anime effect and 2D horizontal particle. These can be great ways to simulate speed in Unity. Using Unity's own "Shuriken" particle system and the default particle texture. We can use the parameters to create various effects, whether this be gentle, ferocious or even in space!

Thanks for the tutorial. Particles are really powerful and versatile, but there're just many little settings. It makes it hard to get started.

I just dont get how you managed to assign the material to the sprite. I created a prefab of the sprite and added the material and it worked. However, i followed everything you did and the result wasnt the same :( the particles spawn in a straight line only
