For me i was in a spirit filled church the pastor put a chair up by him ( and jesus said its time, go up) ask anyone who wanted prayer come up, i came up asked to receive the holy spirit the pastor, the congregation stretched there hands toward me and prayed it took me a hot second to shake off everything that i was taught wrong and the pastor even pointed that out. I started filling up like a hot cup of coffee and then my mind kicked in whats this? And it stopped half way and as the pastor said to surrender to it because the holy spirit never forces itself on anyone, i finally did with the evidence of tongues. Most amazing feeling and how the holy spirit started to pour out revelation knowledge to me when i read the bible and spiritual gifts developing and pouring out when i was lead to! All amazing.

Yes Amen. I say this to ppl all the time and i tell this to my very own self as well, . We must DIE TO FLESH I say to myself and anyone else. GIVE UP YOUR WILL ALL TOGETHER, AND THE WAY YOU THINK, LET GOD HAVE YOUR HEART FULLY. I SAY LORD PLEASE HELP BC THE FLESH ISN'T WILLING LORD MY SPIRIT IS WILLING BUT MY FLESH IS NOT SO I PRAY FOR THE LORD TO HELP ME EVEN IF I DO NOT WANT TO DO A THING I PRAY AND I DO IT ANYWAYS BC I KNOW THAT I MUST OBEY HIS COMMANDS. He blesses me in ways I would not imagine and he is always with me. I fell sick just yesterday with what I believe was food poisoning and I prayed "Lord please if I have to go through this then please just be with me while I go through this sickness and it wasn't even an hour, I was staring to feel better the vomiting subsided and the fever broke, I started to poor sweat and all the while I was not as bad off as I could've been bc the Holy Spirit was and is right here with me the whole time never leaving my side. I felt better by nightfall and this morning I felt much better all the way back to myself as God would have me be. Thank you lord for helping me in my time of sickness and not leaving me I love you so so very much! I give you my heart, my life, my body, mind, and soul! Keep me covered my God I 🙏 pray. In Jesus name I pray Amen & Amen!

I empty my cup daily, wash it and refill it with the Holy Spirit. Renewing myself constantly in prayer, worship, the Word and fellowship. All glory to God in the highest. My old self is left on the cross and I walked out of that tomb with Jesus.
