Does everyone notice that Kentucky patriot doesn't have to do fade editing and that he can talk coherently for eight minutes without looking like he's reading from a cue card? That's because he really knows the subject matter.

It is hard to find someone these days that not only knows what they are talking about but also walks the walk! Great channel great videos! Subscribed!!

Very well said. It's good to see a wholesome biblical perspective that's applicable to self defense. God bless.

I'm writing this during COVID-19 all bets are off here. I love Jesus and my family. I will defend my family. That includes a safe home, food, and freedom to honour God our Father.

So very well spoken! I know this video is an older one, but still a message needed to be heard. I am a retired minister and Bible Collage teacher, and you are absolutely rightly dividing the word of God, brother. I might add, just because I have heard this so many times, "The Bible says Thou shall not kill." In reality, this is a mis-translation of the Hebrew original text - it should be translated "thou shall not murder." That's a big difference! Cheers!

Just watched your video again. I've been wrestling with the carry or not, weapon in the bedroom or not, all over again. Your comments are a big help. Thank you, brother. God bless.

We can kill in self defense, however, we are not to commit murder. We can defend our lives and the lives of those under our protection.

Thank you for your insight in to this topic. I have struggled with this question, also. You have helped to ease my mind on this. Thanks again, KP. God Bless you.

At one time I struggled with this question. What settled my mind was Mathew 4:5-7 in which the devil tempted Jesus to throw himself from the pinnacle of the temple because the angels wouldn't let his feet hit the ground. Jesus answered "Do not put the LORD your God to the test." Ultimately our protection comes from God, but we are not to be reckless about this, including maintaining situational awareness and when possible being armed such as in your Cracker Barrel experience.

Christ commanded His followers (that's you and I) to own deadly weapons. Jesus told His disciples, "...if you don't have a sword, sell your coat and buy one." Luke 22:36
Now the sword in Christ's day was the infantrymen's main battle weapon. Today's equivalent would be the M16, Tavor, AK47, HK416, M4, SCAR, Steyr AUG etc.

PREPAREDNESS: It's so overrated, eh?
How many people wouldn't think about living in a house without door locks and smoke and carbon monoxide detectors to protect their family, yet think it's silly to own tools and be well trained in their use to protect their family from a home invasion?

Or how many think it's foolish to not carry a spare tire, enough fuel in their vehicle, or drive on bald tires, yet do not give a second thought to how they'd defend themselves or their children from a carjacking?

And how many people do you know that feel it's imperative to have car, home, health, and life insurance, yet think it's ridiculous to buy insurance for a violent attack on their home, car, self, or family?

“A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.” Proverbs 22:3
