Hey thought id mention since you seem to really like the sea. In vampire the masquerade theres a vampire clan named lasombra that can dominate minds, have super strength, and manipulate shadows. When the sun goes down they emerge from the abyss depths where theres no light to raid ships

I created an item called the Trident of the Thalassic One. It’s essentially an amazingly powerful fuckyou trident that allows players to cast powerful water-based spells at will.

But here’s the catch: every time you use the trident to cast a spell or attack, you have to roll a random save (there’s a save for each stat) or get some absolutely BRUTAL effects. One freezes their arms solid. Another will stunt their mind so they can’t speak. Another will exhaust them. Etcetera.

I’m working on a version for Earth, Fire, and Air as well.

I know what my bard is going to do with the tentaclute... But I'm more afraid of giving it to a rogue as unexpected tentacles are even worse then normal tentacles. Anyway, It is going to be a great interrogation instrument, just like INTerrogation.
