Review: 2024 BMW X5 M Competition - Improving a Winning Formula

I spend a week with the 2024 BMW X5M Competition to see what the refreshed X5M is like. For 2024 it gets new styling, new tech inside and under the hood, along with shorter gearing and other mechanical improvements. They all add up to a more fun and dynamic experience, but now that the X5M only comes in the more hardcore Competition trim for 2024, does it go too far and abandon luxury component of this high-performance luxury SUV? Ive seen a couple reviews of this model already but this is the first one ive seen to hilight the cool night time roof feature, i really like that. Got to see one of these in black on the highway a few weeks ago as it drove passed me, it was pretty sharp!

I believe you can get softer suspension in the X5 M60i with the adaptive 2-axle air suspension. It's 94 hp down from the X5 M Comp.

Great looking vehicles for sure. Its a shame they fall apart after 4 or 5 years. Im a wholesaler, its amazing how much these things depreciate. No one can afford to repair them. Definitely a vehicle to lease, not buy.

Very nice video. Though the X5M does not have 4 wheel steering. It doesn't need it as it has a pretty good turning radius. M will not complicate their vehicles with that or air suspension.

Great SUV, but you have to agree that they could have done a better job on the dash, like Cadillac Escalade or MB I mean come on BMW

I don’t like SUVs but the X5M is one of my favorites. But the problem is that they are probably unreliable idk if it’s true or what
