I usually get sick about three times a year and when I do, I'm usually down and out for about two weeks. Explaining this to others is a nightmare. It seems like most people I know are able to function normally when they're sick, but not me. Usually I'm reduced to just laying around.

I have the flu rn, I literally so dizzy when get up from bed, headaches are literally the worst thing about the flu, hopefully I get cured bc I hate this flu.

Resting is easier said than done. I usually take one day off with the flu and do home office from my bad for the rest. Daily financial reports fall apart at work if I do not fix errors. I even feel bad for taking home office lol

Yesterday i barfed my brains out and this morning i woke up to a high fever. 🤒

My friend from work was out for 2 weeks with flu now I got it

Take ibuprofen and paracetamol plus take immune support tablets all year round and the flu shot to decrease severity. I have influenza a at the moment and I got the shot when pregnant so my daughter who was in me at the time and I are not feeling it too much. My 3 year old got it bad, though.
