I’m so glad the studio listened to the fans and the public and gave us (at least so far) what we asked for 😁 Sure it’s not a full season like we would’ve wanted originally, BUT being able to at least get an OVA and then 2 movies (or a short season for the timeskip) is the best outcome compared to what we were previously offered. Shows what fan support for a series can accomplish! I can’t wait all these matches with such high quality animation.

I wonder IF they do the timeskip as a movie, if they might do what they’re doing here and have the Brazil arc be an OVA and the final movie will be the final professional match? 🤔 ofc a short season would be ideal. But it seems movies/OVAs are what they’re going for at this point.

Honestly they should just adapt the rest of the story in general, the movie did well at the box office, the anime is insanely popular, they can make tons of money while giving the fans what they want. it's a win win
