Tragedy and trauma have a way of instilling much needed gratitude in people. We take a lot of our good fortune for granted until they're gone. Counting our blessings should be a routine exercise.

Almost losing someone is enlightening.
I regularly imagine my life without my husband as a mental reset.

Excellent content as always Dr. Peterson. Married for 15yrs together for much more, and there is a lot to be said for constantly rediscovering one another. For not pidgeon-holing the other as a static being, but rather finding excitement and fascination with the everchanging landscape of your spouse's mind, body and soul. There is nothing more beautiful than love when observed over the scope of time's vicissitudes.

When you commit the time and energy to cultivate a garden, it’s only then that you understand that the artificial scent of a flower will never to compare to the perfume of a blossoming rose. 🌹

The problem is we identify too closely with our outer persona. And we do not display aspects of ourselves that would contradict or confuse that established outer persona. We are very deep, multifaceted ppl. Just some people repress themselves more than others. 💯

I think fundamentally, envy is a lack of information on the subject. I have never wished to be a man that I knew well

A true love relationship with a man and a woman should be a beautiful concert of God and a concert of give and take. Words matter.

Perfect timing. We are 21 years married and love each other so much but our communication skills are lacking and we want to deepen that connection with each other. We try to go at least once a year to Cozumel to dive and reconnect. ❤

Gosh I get this! I have been married 3 times and would NEVER BE UNFAITHFUL... I would have stuck with the first 2 until I died, had they also been a faithful husband and someone that kept pushing for the best marriage for US BOTH.. I am now so happily married, I have a man that I see change and grow, in his own way, and I will change and grow for him... we are so blessed

If all else fails, here's some Sun Tzu dating advice:
“You may advance and be absolutely irresistible, if you make for the enemy’s weak points; you may retire and be safe from pursuit if your movements are more rapid than those of the enemy.”

I’m just about finish a new video for my own channel on this subject. So, for me, this is a timely video to watch.

My video focuses on clarifying a positive vision of the future within the scope of previously defined values, a healthy intimate relationship being one of them, presumably.

When you write a vision like this, on one level of analysis, you are simply fantasising. But instead of that fantasy being incoherent and spontaneous, it’s orderly and intentionally created.

But perhaps the most important part of this is that the vision, is that it’s within and in alignment with your values. Meaning, the fantasy is with and includes your current partner (as Dr Peterson stated), not some magical portrayal of another person you barely know, that you’ve conjured up in your mind, while distracted.

Make your fantasies intentional, don’t let your mind be captured by your demons.

We are not the best nor the worst of our sex. People are not capable of accessing an infinite range of possibilities. Many people are limited by egotistic desires. You can work with open minded people but it is impossible to proceed with someone who enjoys viewing the world narrowly.

Dr. Peterson I was blessed to watch your we who wrestle with God lecture in OKC. I hope that you saw my question after the lecture if not I will be reposting this a few times as to possibly have you see it hopefully I'm not annoying. The question I would like to hear answered is why is the Logos of the Universe on a Cross, why would he promise us anything, and do the promises he made apply to you? I have my own thoughts on it but your perspective is so Brilliant that I think that it would do the world some good or at least my consens. Thank you if you ever read this and thank you more if you ever answer my question. Thank you!

I repeat: I can see the 18-piece band Leonid & Friends for $30. Can see the 21-piece band TSO for $70. And TSO spends a fortune on effects. How is it fair to spend $70 to hear you talk? You are a wise and brave and indispensable person and I hang on your every word. I am grateful for you! So please tell me, why is charging $70 for the cheap seats to hear you and maybe a guest or two speak, fair?

My former shrink, Dr. Rai, said that he always preferred talking to his patients, rather than his peers...he said all that his peers wanted to talk about was material goods, property, toys, investments, etc..but us bi-polars had many interesting adventures, to say the least..😂😂
