And for those who wondering how a Peel P50 sold for $140k then let me tell you that one did actually sold for £120k in 2016. Another was sold in 2022 was sold for £110k and another one was sold for £80k in 2016. All these were the original models produced from 1962-1965 of which only 46 were made and had no reverse gear. In 2010, Peel restarted the production of the P50 and these new P50s cost around £15k only. These newer ones are similar to the original P50s but come with a reverse gear and better suspensions to comply with modern safety regulations. Also these newer models comes with an option of a 49cc 4-stroke engine or an electric moped motor.

The Cygnet was meant to fill some emission regulation because Aston only made big engines and didn't have any hybrid/electric cars yet. They were sold mostly to their customers as an add on or an accessory to the main car. I know this much, as top gear UK once featured it on their show too.
