Japan hanged three death-row inmates on Tuesday, its first executions in two years, amid growing criticism by human rights groups of the country’s use of the death penalty. Executions are carried out in high secrecy in Japan, where prisoners are not informed of their fate until the morning they are hanged.

Why is WION judging any law system for having a death penalty? The fact that the crimes committed deserve an appropriate punishment is undeniable. Some crimes deserve a punishment worse than death. (Edited because I have fat thumbs).

"Japan is a industrious nation which still uses death penalty...". What do you think Japan should do with them instead? Keep them alive in prisons for entire life and pay their expenses from the tax payers money. The fact of the matter is that it doesn't matter how forward human society goes, a small number of people will commit heinous crime with no conscience at all. The only think that should be done is to no let them back into society. Also, the punishment should act as a deterrent and not a motivator like getting free meal and bed for rest of the life.

Death is capital punishment but when the crime is too capital this capital punishment is also necessary.
Imagine a person killed 5 or 7 people then what you should do with the person, just think about the family of the victims they also want capital punishment for the criminal.

If there wasn't crazy psychopath people in the world countries wouldn't have to have the death penalty js.
