Great Live this morning, just a word of warning. Your van will definitely get robbed while on the water. Don’t leave anything of value inside, you’re better off shipping the bigger more valuable stuff across separately. Same on your return journey. Fantastic build, King and Queen of van builders.

Hi Jess John...if you want to get in touch I have lots of experience in Canada including living in Halifax (in motorhome) and touring Nova Scotia, including the famous Cabot trail which starts just north of Halifax. Also my best friend owns a 200acre farm/b&b at the start of cabot trail and conducts bicycle tours of the trail in summer. Happy to put you in touch and he has loads of experience of B.C. as an ex tree planter. Also Ive driven across Canada from Halifax to Victoria B.C (motorhome) and me and my friend did a tent/car roadtrip from Whitehorse to about 100 miles shy of Prudhoe Bay! More than happy to share experience tips etc!

I am currently a solo traveller 71 years young, I did a 9 week trip through SAus, NSW& Qld in my Cub camper trailer earlier this year, I’ve now got a 12’ pop top and looking forward to more travel next year. Have you got a block heater on the van? To keep the engine warm overnight, it prevents the engine block from freezing up in extreme cold and makes it easier for starting. These are a common accessory in Canada.
