5 EASY Steps when Pruning Blackberries!

Black Berry pruning in is a job that needs to be done every winner. Blackberries have 2 different types of canes, Primecane in for Florcanes. The prima canes grow the 1st year and produced fruit the 2nd year. The Floracanes are the ones producing fruit this year. After you get done harvesting the floracanes die. When you go through and prune you want to pull out the canes that produced fruit this year.

So just found your channel on the blueberry video and excited cuz we are in West Plains and have thousands of blackberry plants and just got 5 blueberry plants so gonna plant in with our blackberries but not till I do my RESEARCH!
