I noticed you keep your hand on the U-Bass strings the whole time. Is it because they will still ring out through the amp if you don't? This was also one question I asked on one of your live streams.
I like them both by the way....just partial to the U-Bass for now anyway.

To be honest that is a tough one. Both have round wounds that even things out. Now I wonder how this would sound with Flat Wounds on the electric and Ubass. I know I saw your Ubass string comparison video and slapping didn't work so well with the Polyurethane strings do to the tension of the strings. Now specifically between the two, the Electric Bass does have a more fuller, warmer tone than the Ubass with Slap, but like I said at the beginning it's a tough one. If I was "forced" to pick a winner, based on everything I said here, I would say the Electric Bass. But like I said it is so close. If I closed my eyes and just heard the audio, I could tell the 1st bass was a different one, but I couldn't say for certain that the 1st Bass was a Ubass vs just a different model electric Bass.
