Everybody talking about Morricone and Zimmer but nobody mentions Thomas Newman who never won an oscar for his brilliant work

Dario Marianelli is criminally underrated! Atonement was one of the most deserving scores since LOTR.

Not awarding John Powell for his outstanding soundtrack for How To Train Your Dragon was a crime. One of the best scores ever written.

Italian, French, Indian, Argentinian... Music can erase the borderlines and bind the hearts, doesn't it? Amazing videos, great composers, thank you!

For me, LotR score is the greatest score of all time. Still getting goosebumps listening to it. Howard Shore got the most deserved Oscar

It's a crime that Thomas Newman still hasn't won despite it's multiple nominations, he's very underrated
There are some great scores that are well deserving too

I think the LOTR's score is one of those beautifully peaces of art that, maybe, will never repeat again.
Great vídeo CinemaVore ;)

Just hearing the first chords of Brokeback Mountain's main theme makes me wanna cry, that's what makes a good score imo it gets stuck in your brain and brings all the emotions 💔

The next video could be:
Best Original Song (Lose Yourself, Skyfall, Remember Me, Shallow)
Best Foreign Film (El secreto de sus ojos, Una mujer fantastica, Roma, Parasite)
Best Costume Design (Gladiator, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Mad Max Fury Road, Black Panther)
Best Adapted Screenplay (Brokeback Mountain, The Departed, The Social Network, Jojo Rabbit)

Hans Zimmer just won a Golden Globe. Hope he wins Oscar too along with many other awards.

I still can't understand how gladiator didn't win

In my opinion, Howard Shore is a composer whose works don't use electronic music, he just uses paper and pen. that can write emotional, majestic, horror, ... That's what I think of him!

How Hans Zimmer did not get an Oscar for Interstellar is beyond me. Atticus Ross and Trent Reznor have a special place in my heart. Such outstanding work on The Social Network. Glad they were recognized because they really tied it all together with the soundtracks
