This was filmed before the whole world went MENTAL. Please look after those around you - especially the elderly. I hope you all stay safe! HIT THE SUB AND BELL!!!

Cool. Used my Dewalt 20v max tonight to replace an old drain tail pipe (chromed steel) on bathroom sink. It was the kind that screwed together from top and bottom and also has a nut on bottom to pull assembly down tight. It was all corroded and crusty. Popped in the fine tooth blade and cut it off just below the nut, unscrewed nut, and pulled out old assembly. The PVC replacement was about 3/4" too long, so I just used the tool again to cut about an inch off the end. I'm in love.

My plumbing book recommends using a circular saw but this looks like a game changer!! Thanks dude!

1.5 AH on my site radio. From arriving on a job, fully charged to dead radio, means it's time to go home. 12 AH on my wife's "tool". If she used a mains operated "tool" the lights would go dim all over Sheffield. Thankfully, I have ear defenders and exceptionally good house sound insulation.

I've used Bosch oscillating tool for around 3 years now brilliant but blades are a bit expensive. I will go DeWalt on my upgrade soon cheaper blade same job. These tools are a must have in your box saves time and more money boom

Nice video. You nead to look after your hearing my friend, trust me from someone who has some hearing loss. It used to be the router that was the noisiest tool in the shop but as you say the oscillaring multitool is very noisy, particularly if it is amplified by working near a wall or corner or in a confined space.

I'm all makita, impact, sds, combi drill, recip saw, circuit saw, multi tool, planer, 1/2 impact and the site radio and coffe maker.

I have about 6 5ah batteries plus a couple of 4 ah and some 3ah.

To be honest whilst I'd love bigger capacity batteries I have too greater investment in makita to change.

I'll hold out until makita do a bigger battery.

I have recently moved into a 1950’s house, the floorboards we mashed up and splintered along where the coper has been laid. There were a few boards floating, and very spongy. I added a noggins which allowed them to ‘Hold Tight!’.

@ 5:57 you mentioned ‘these batteries can provide up to 87% more power’ it’ll be useful if you can include what you are comparing to. E.g. 87% more power then the previous gen batteries or 87% more power then the nearest competitor.

Thanks buddy!

My ideal logic 30 combi boiler has a cracked heat exchanger so need a new one. What do you think is the best all round combi boiler. Although a system is better, a combi is all i can fit in, what advice can you give to make a combi last a long time, keep it well maintained? I bought a magnaclean already but seems a bit pointless getting it fitted now, will wait for the new boiler. Perhaps make a video guide to combis?

Seems choosing a combi without a cast heat exchanger is a good plan! Veissmann?

Great Vid! I’ve always used 5amp/h makita batteries, but I’m very tempted to make the switch over to Bosch!!

I have the Dewalt with 2 little 2.0AH batteries, with the charger, the time it takes one battery to drain the other will charge from empty. The weight difference alone is worth having 2 on the go. Battery life is about 40mins.

I'd never heard of a 12ah battery until now. I tend to be satisfied with a 3ah one. Sometimes 2ah on light 12v cordless screwdriver/drills. You can always charge them back up when they go flat you know ;)

I'm all Makita, with 6* 5ah batteries, too invested to change now, that being said I'm very happy with Makita.

Metabo LiHD 2.5 and 3.5 Ah. I can't remember the last time I had to swap a battery in the middle of using the tool, and I love the reduced weight.
