I’ve been listening to interviews with WW2 veterans for months and months now and I jagged this one cos it’d been ages since I heard a flamin Ausie! I just love your work mate-really respectful and gave ol mate the floor and that bit from his daughter was the icing on the cake! Y’know, we all know what we did in our early twenties right…so to hear what THESE blokes did-oh it’s captivating. I’m not military but I salute you Bob with all my heart

It’s a long interview but fascinating. He is so articulate and entertaining. I listened while preparing my classroom, while walking to my car and the drive home. Loved it. What a wonderful life captured on film for everyone to treasure.
