Does the Bible not also say in the book of Proverbs that many are the plans in a man's heart but it's the LORD who determines the outcome? I stand to be rebuked or corrected!

I don't agree. Late Dr Myles Monroe in his book "Principles of individual and collective vision" that if you make a plan for your life in the next 20, 30years you can't die but he died while still young. Does it mean the book he wrote must be applied by others and not himself?
