HelloGames kept their word and delivered the unimagined - I'm just so attached to it now, Sean, you earned my respect

It's unbelievable that they still plan on dishing out massive updates such as Worlds 2.0. I'm so glad I gave this game a chance.

I was there in 2016 when the game was so hyped to see it fall so hard. I had friends who wanted to explore planets, caves, fly and fight in space, to see it all end.

And fast forward to 2020 when I had no idea about No Man's Sky redemption phase- I was looking for a space game to play when they had it listed. What? This was the game with the terrible launch! But I knew nothing of the redemption phase mentioned and detailed in this video.

So I looked into the game to find it was what I had been looking for... for years.

And four years later, still playing NMS. I have over 2000 hours in this game. Hello Games deserves all the credit they have earned.

My husband bought this game in 2016, I watched him play this for hours on pc. It was glitchy so he put it down and took it back up during the pandemic. Again I watched him play this for hours. I wanted to play it, but my personal pc could not handle it. Fast foward to last year, I got a new pc and got the game as a gift. I love it. We have played together and now I play by myself because i love exploring the new worlds. I love the updates, it added so much depth and richness to the worlds. I love visiting the anomoly and seeing how other player have created their characters and ships. Its one of my favorite games to play and i cannot wait for what they have next!

It’s such a beautiful game and I love just spending hours doing whatever I decide, whenever I decide, wherever I decide. It’s very very very good

All the game needs now is a creature overhaul. I’m so tired of seeing these lame pineapple looking creatures with no limbs hopping around. It looks so alpha/beta. Give us the dinosaur creatures and giant snakes from the first trailer and i’ll be satisfied.

Ok, to correct 1 thing, there's no stipulation that maybe Sony forced them to publish it sooner, this is publicly well known at this point, Sony did force them to publish it before it was ready.

I was skeptical when NMS was being hyped at 2016, so after the reviews i never bought it. after that i kept hearing about the updates on youtube but because of the disastrous launch i thought it's probably gotten better but it cant be that great, finally this week i decided to try it for the first time and now i understand how much is done to make this game as great as it is. it really is one of the best games i have ever played and I still haven't experienced most of it's mechanics since there is just so many and i need to take baby steps to learn everything.

I started playing in 2016 on my PS4, and even though it was bad i still played to death. Then when it re launched on Xbox i bought again, now in 2024 im playing it religiously on both consoles. Every update just brings more life to this game and the best thing unlike most AAA games is that its always free. This is one game id genuinely be happy for microtransactions at this point because i feel Hello Games have earned that right.

I bought NMS for cheap a few updates in. And it has improved every year and I have hundreds of hours in the game. Now playing Permadeath. I feel I owe the devs. So when Light No Fire comes, I'll be into it straight away.

The only thing I need from HG is an economy/trade redux/overhaul and a bigger combat system. Allow us to create factions/have faction wars (especially against/with the 3 main races) and allow for bigger combat missions that we can take part of as either a mini RTS or shooter.

I love No Man's Sky I bought it and played it on day one. It was and still is my kind of Space game. Hello Games did a great job making up for the games bad release I hope that someday when Light No Fire comes out that it will come to Playstation and Xbox systems I hope that we won't have to wait long for those of us that can't afford PC'S.. Thanks for video it bought back memories and reminded me of how much I love this game.

I bought it when Living Ships released, and I'm disappointed that they were power crept into oblivion... but my Interceptor kicks ass, and I look like some sort of space wizard now!!

I wish life wasn’t so busy now. This is exactly the kind of game I’d have spent countless hours in when I was younger. Looks incredible.

It’s crazy how different updates of this game mark different times of my life. I remember seeing the trailer for the “Next” update like it was yesterday. Can’t believe that was 6 years ago

I’ve put 100 hours into nms since late July. . . This is my fourth or fifth time doing so. Every couple years or less I pop on, start a new account and play my arse off.. it’s always addicting

There are a few things I don't agree, the game at launch did run really well on ps4 (30 fps but very stable). A lot of people including myself had a great time with NMS 1.0 Sean said many times in interviews before the release of the game that not all the feature were going to be for day one, that this was a game that they wanted to keep improving and supporting. I played over 300h even before the first major update came in late 2016.
