Finding the limit of a function as x approaches 4. In this problem we are trying to determine the limit of a function, f(x) as x approaches 4. We will not be able to substitute 4 in for x right off the start because if we did then we would get 0 in the denominator which would make this function undefined. So, our first step in solving this limit problem will be to reduce the function as much as we can, and then once it is reduced we will plug 4 in for x, and solve to find the limit of f(x).
