How to set up 2 monitors and a laptop.
We decided to shoot some videos of how to properly adjust your monitors. We have been getting a lot of people who not only have two monitors but also have a laptop
Everyday someone walks into our clinic with neck pain, we demonstrate good postures ( your best posture is your next posture), and discuss ergonomics. They feel great after they leave, they feel good when they do their exercises but after a couple of days at work their discomfort starts to come back.
One hour sessions are great, we get a lot done but if you're staring a screen, or two, or three, for 40 hours a week we can only do so much in the clinic.
In case you cant play it with the sound on. Ill summarize it below.
1) Start with the feet, make sure they are on the floor.
2) Elbow rests should be adjusted so there is no tension in the shoulders
3) Hands should fall on the keyboard and mouse, which should be closer to the edge of the table.
4) Two monitors need to be at a 5-10 degree angle so they both face you.
5) Farther than an arms length away so you can see both monitors
6) Laptop goes on a stand, align with the bottom edge of the monitors.
