*Teddy Roosevelt:* “Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people."

Depression and anxiety are normal responses when your government is trying to kill you.

Being constantly lied to & threatened if one does not comply does tend to lead to mental health problems.

Want to improve mental health? Turn off the mainstream media.

I am pretty sure all the "doom and gloom" news YOU put out has not helped.

This is like listening to Facebook execs discussing the dangers of children using Instagram.

This is not just affecting young people.

Bereavement, isolation, loss of income and fear are triggering mental health conditions or exacerbating existing ones. Many people may be facing increased levels of alcohol and drug use, insomnia, and anxiety. 🥺🥺🥺
Meanwhile, COVID-19 itself can lead to neurological and mental complications, such as delirium, agitation, and stroke. People with pre-existing mental, neurological or substance use disorders are also more vulnerable to SARS-CoV-2 infection ̶ they may stand a higher risk of severe outcomes and even death.🥺🥺🥺🥺

Just stop harassing young people about covid! It's no real danger to them, and forcing them to act like it is has all sorts of negative consequences.

It's twice as bad since competent mental health care is out of reach for some of the most at risk.
I've been on antidepressants for PTSD since I was a child, at least several dozen and nothing works. Therapists were expensive, and I've seen about a hundred of them. It doesn't look promising for the many in need of lockdown damage, I hate to say.

I don't understand how an ER doctor is qualified to talk about mental health wouldn't it be much better to have a psychologist?

Thank you for finally covering this topic

This is not news. It's been here for years. The real issue is the ability to talk about it. If parents throw down
down with excuses, them whatrver it takes, get the schools on board and include social events around this in the curriculum.

That’s what I’m talking about. Why Ron De Santis of Florida, Greg Abbott of Texas and Phil Murphy of New Jersey refuse mandate of mask in rooms. Especially classrooms. Why risk our younger generation? Don’t they know about late effects of covid infections.

Doesn't help that the meds that help anxiety or ADHD are impossible to get, EVEN from a psychiatrist. At least in my state of Ohio

Epidemics and pandemics tend to last a couple of years. I think this covid pandemic will last 3-5 more years at least.

Dumb them down n tune them in the grand plan you have an entire group of society who thinks they can be influencers or some nonsense as a career choice

Since the beginning of 2019 I've been struggling so hard, with my mental health it's the worst it ever has been.
