Holy f$@!. This actually worked for me, and I've never been able to make a hand whistle despite many different people teaching me their 'techniques'. Thank you!

For those who dont want to watch a longer video, basically, do this,
Leave the gap in your thumbs as the only escape for air.
Put your lips to your knuckes on your thumbs and try to blow air directly down/across the opening in your thumbs (imagine the air strean and your thumbs are parallel, like blowing across the top of a glass bottle).

My dad taught me how to do this when I was a small child. After YEARS of not doing it, I just tried and can still immediately do it via muscle memory. Extra points if you can lift your left middle finger to increase the pitch lol
