I've had one since new. Great camera for photography; perfect even. But the 30min recording limit is why I could not recommend it and recommend the A7C instead.

The menu is simple you just have to spend enough time with it, it a good cam I own I one, tilt screen is not that versatile but with external monitor is a blessing

Am using a Sony a77-II since many years now and shooting photos only. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with it 🤷🏻‍♂️

I got that this camera last year (used for like $1500) and I love it ~ tho I did wish the screen could flip. But at least an external monitor can help with that.

For $1300 new nowadays, it’s worth the upgrade for me since I’m using an a6500. Big thing for me is 60fps in 4k, which id need to upgrade to an a7siii or a7iv

I had the budget to get a6400 anyway I pushed the budget to get this but no way I'm gonna push it anymore to get the fx30 or the a7iv

Im using one..since I dont do video, I dont care about articulating screen. The menu system takes some time to get used too, its not problem for me. Glad I bought one quite cheap for low SC 550 sc. bought it for around usd1200

I have one and it’s good. With good glass, you can get great results. It’s better than the A7C and price is down.

I think a7iv or v not too much updates as for certain pixels, say 24M, with better skills, the Imgur from a7iii very very good. If pixel’s necessary, buy the V, later buy VI if 100m/img.
