Agreed, the negative sign not being absorbed here and not using parentheses in his logarithmic differentiation problems felt like driving without my seatbelt. Excellent teacher though ... I binge watch this stuff. 😂

I differentiated the logarithm of the first derivative. Not quite as complicated as the quotient rule but the result is the same.
