How To Get A Gaming Desktop For $200

I have found the ultimate way to get the cheapest gaming desktop possible. It turns out it is a lot easier than building a PC yourself and way more convenient than buying a pre-built gaming machine. This may not have the same benefits as I mentioned from others, but this solution should work pretty great. I turned my Asus Gaming Laptop into a dedicated stream machine with a Corsair power supply and a Lian Li case! It looks great with awesome RGB fans too!

If you actually want a cheap desktop for under 300$ I gotchu, but before I start limit you're expectations you won't be running cyberpunk at max settings with a PC like this, first buy an optiplex off eBay (make sure money back guarantee at least) make sure it's at least second to 4th gen CPU in there. Now make sure that you try and find a graphics card that is low profile and cheap. You want to pick a graphics card preferably around the performance of a GTX 1050 since anything lower than that is kind of unplayable with any game nowadays (or maybe not any game but if you want to have a wide range of titles you can play.) Now depending on what kind of graphics card you got you might need an adapter from SATA to 6 pin or 8 pin depending on your graphics card, or you might not need one at all this is very important make sure if you got this card has a six or eight pin port on it. Last step, assemble all the build. Now you got yourself a decent gaming PC that will play most titles nowadays again limit your expectations most likely on low and maybe on 720p on some titles. (Disclaimer you also need a Windows 10/11 USB most likely if it doesn't come already with Windows 10/11 on it just to make sure)

I built a budget pc 6 years ago for $475 and it still runs 150 fps at 4k on any game. Im running the i11 11850k paired with a ztx 9090 and i got 469gb of ddr9 ram. Thing runs great

Tip: Buy a power supply, a cheap mother board, and turn it on and have the fans spin. Volia, you just unlocked Under 99 degree temperatures when playing COD

In all honesty though, you would prob be able to get an old 2/3rd Gen i5/i7 Dell and get a second hand 1-2GB graphics card off Facebook market or Craigslist for a roughly 200$ total (but you prob won’t be playing AAA games on it lol)
