I will never understand people who think sex is a necessity. If your relationship RELIES on sex, it's NOT a healthy relationship. If you HAVE to be sexually active to even TRUST your partner, there was no trust in the first place. Sex is not a need, it is a want. Anybody who breaks another person's trust because of a WANT is simply a greedy person by nature.
