@GameOver554 HALO is High Altitude, Low Opening. In the HALO technique, the parachutist opens his parachute at a low altitude after free-falling for a period of time.

i used your Halo-Jump in my Arma II video compilation named "Arma 2 - Experience the Best Gameplay" at 2:52 and in "Arma II Alamo" at the start of the video ;)
Actually i use it a lot, i just love dropping behind enemy lines!!!

@LiLAbdi97 its a static C-130. Just given the set position of a certian hieight above the map, if you set your players hight the the name as the static planes, itl place you insde once you spawn

@hinx1234 In typical HALO/HAHO insertions, the troops are dispatched from altitudes between 25, 000 feet (7, 600 m) and 35, 000 feet (11, 000 m). Every mission is different and there is no set definition for the deployment height. Normally, the goal is to get as close to the ground "safely" (About 200m max to be safe).

The USAF calls HALO High Altitude Low Opening and when they deploy chutes at high altitude it is a HAHO High Altitude High Opening. Makes sense.

@BlackBrickStudioz It doesnt require scripts
There is a C130 Static object you can use and use the set height command to place it 2000 meters in the air then use the same command to set the people 2000 meters in the air and they will spawn in the plane
As for the actual parajumping you can place a trigger at the end of the plane so when you cross the ramp it calls up a default script that everyone has in their game to enter the chute mode

It is the "static" C-130. You can find it in the empty category under Objects (military) it should say C-130 Static

the c130 is a static one and placeable in editor.
the sounds are 3 triggers with factory-sounds.

Exactly, luckily its slightly complicated so a small degree of patience is needed to enjoy it, Cod players do not have any patience. Good news for us.

Angreh angreh angreh someone is ANGGREEEEHHHH!! You can't argue about realism when it comes to ArmA2 and something else, ArmA2 is made as a MILITARY SIMULATOR! BF3, is an action packed FPS like CoD. Just with bigger maps ;)

They don't "Shoot out." It's due to the fact that the plane they were dropping out of was moving very fast. Once they drop out, the plane moves on without them, so it looks like they fly away.

@ALbishop2123 you use a static C-130. they are the same as the normal C-130 minus the ability to sit, load up gear, and fly. Plus moving around.
