This latest Android smartwatch is a proper rival to the Ticwatch Pro 3 and the other best 2020 wrist rockets, offering incredible battery life like the rest of Huawei's GT2 series. But here you get a titanium and ceramic design, plus sapphire glass for added toughness.

You once again have a decent range of fitness and exercise tracking tools, including over 100 types of workout now recognised and supported. Meanwhile the Huawei Watch GT2 Pro sports a new golf and skiing option compared with the original 46mm model. And you also have route tracking and weather warnings, plus advanced heart rate monitoring.

I ran 3.7 Miles with my gt2 today and I went out at 96 percent battery .
I played music for 35 minutes running from the watch on ear Budds and I had gps on and I came back at 92 percent battery .

Cant justify change from GT2 to PRO, but saphire/titanium body is great!
Also seen some harmonyOS demo vids and I hope upgrage is coming soon as it makes gui super smooth.

Pretty much all I'd want is on the GT2. Saving 130 quid. Yes, titanium is nice but I don't ski or golf and can do without Qi charging, it's a nice to have, not essential.

Really looking forward to the full review. No only real downside of this device (same as other huawei watches) is the inability of replying to notifications. That is literally the only thing that has stopped me from getting one so far. I currently have a fitbit and would love to switch but I reply to notifications constantly on my watch

I've used the GT2 for 12 months now and I cannot find fault in it. Yes there were issues early on with limited watch faces being available but that's now more than resolved. It performs well, it's comfortable, 12-14 day battery life without fail.

You got to mention Qi Wireless charging on the Pro model. That's one of the biggest differences from GT2

I just purchased the GT2 and love it. Personally for me i dont think the little extra's is worth the extra $$ and the fact i actually love the design of the GT2's sportier look in black, very very similar look to the GW3 which i was tossing between. In the end the battery life did it for me in comparison the the HUGE price diff and one day battery of the GW3, plus i have the GW 46 mm which i think is better battery wise that the 3. 24 hours in im loving my GT2 ;-) Ty for your video's very informative and if i may add it was your review that prompted my to get the GT 2 so Cheers :-)

I own a Huawei GT 2 46mm smartwatch for a month now. It's great watch. It looks nice, very functional and the battery is great. I understand that the secret of the battery is the economical processor and only the basic smart features. There is no WIFI, NFC or option for installing additional apps. But that's why we got a good battery life in return, and I'm very satisfied with that trade.

There are two things that bother me. And both are a software problem. So, it would be great if Huawei would solve that in software ugrades.
It seems to me that these problems are also present in GT2 pro.

1. First problem is small one. Limited number of contacts to 10? The minimum should be 25 or 30.

2. Inability to respond to whatsapp, viber and facebook messager notifications. It would be enough to have few predefined text messages and smileys. And there should be the option to record a voice message as answer. Because watch has a microphone already. It would rarely be used anyway, and would not affect to the battery life.
