There is no (as in NONE) visual notifications when any of the workout programs are active on the GT2, and that in my opinion is a big mistake; I believe it's lacking as well on the Pro, but have yet to have it confirmed. I'll get the Pro right away if in fact it has a notification overlay, or whatever, while in work-out mode, but otherwise I'll stick with the GT2 which is an excellent watch except for that one letdown. I would think it would be easy to have a super-imposed overlay at least, on top of whatever workout program is currently running, but it ain't happening, only a vibration if that has been activated. I often find myself not using the workout functions during my workouts, hikes or biking, for the simple fact that when a notification comes in I have to reach for my phone every time to see what's going on; that's almost a deal breaker but I guess it didn't stop me from buying it. Huawei should fix this in an update and soon, thank you very much...:(:(:(

I have been watching reviews of watches for hours I still can't find one that suits me. I guess I am just not the target audience of any of the modern watches, because ALL I want is a good looking digital watch (like this one) with customizable watch faces and always on display THAT'S IT. ALL the rest of the space in there can go to battery for all I care (3-4 weeks would be great), couldn't care less about any smart features, don't care about workout trackers, don't care about music storage, don't care about phone calls or even notifications. (I currently use a xiaomi amazfit pace in airplane mode - which is fine but I would really like to have wireless charging ... ) Does anyone have any ideas of what would be the best choice?
