The video does not mention that the short end of the spring attaches to a small hole (groove) on the door handle. This holds the spring in place and provides tension.

my door handle is opening from the outside but not the inside. does anyone know if this fix will work or if i need to do something bigger (cable). Thanks

there are some vital tips you do not say a thing about.

it is not that straight.

You can't see the cable fitting into the hole. Also you can't see where the spring attaches. Poor video work.
