I don’t understand why they are trying to go back in time where we had different devices for different stuff. Apps are literally the solutions for that. We can gave have one device to do all the work. Who the hell wanna carry around 69 devices for 69 specific functions?

The entire thing that intrigues me about it is the formfactor. It harkens back to the days of devices with specific functions, like having to carry a Walkman for listening to music and a Gameboy to play games. It's almost retro-futurism for Millennials.

You get a phone with decent processor (600k Antutu score), 120hz Amoled display with 30-120hz variable refresh rate, from the companies like Motorola, Xiaomi, BBQ electronics for 200$.

$200 for the Rabbit R1 made sense...if the AI was onboard with a dedicated processor and stuff to make it snappy. I'd genuinely pay $200 for GPT-4o on a standalone device that runs completely locally. But the fact it pings to a server just like everything else...it's basically a $200 app.
