Some of you want to hate the R1 so bad you can't even use your brains. The R1 was never intended to replace your phone, that's why you seem like you're comparing the apple iPhone with an actual apple. You deliberately didn't mention the perplexity AI service you get which is $200 itself. I have one and I love it.

Unfortunately I dont have to imagine I perordered one, and it came in RIGHT as they announced the backorder and the fact it was an app. It also doesn't have the promised ai program they claimed they made in-house.

I don't think there's anything wrong with using Android and an app for your product as it is very flexible, AOSP android gives you a lot of software tools that make your product reliable and easy to update/manage. What I think adds insult to the injury is the whole controversy surrounding the company and the usefulness of the product

It just shows that most people are easily able to be duped. Why spend $200 for something thats considerably outdated, literally your phone does all that device does + more and more effeciently. My phone costs $170 now in open box, i paid $500 for it in 2020.

Well everything is android even android tv, watch os and many things we don't realise. Android is open-source, they customized the os for their build😊

The Rabbit R1 even has worse value than the Pixel 4a or 4a 5G which is can be found for 200 Dollars for the 4a 5G or even less for the 4a and that is the "not so good" price for both of the phone. The Snapdragon 730G on the 4a, which has roughly the same performance as the 765G on the 4a 5G, will beat the the R1 CPU speed. Also the RAM, storage, OS experience, etc. are much better. It is already a joke when the Rabbit was released.

AT the end of the year Rabbit Tech delivered what they promised and more.

For millions of the 1 billion disabled people in the world the smartphone is a terribly designed device. I use the r1 in my arts work with folks with disabilities ad it's been very welcomed, where using a smartphone creates suspicion the r1 creates fascination. Very good results in education settings.. I"m not going to give my phone to a bunch of youths to use!, but the r1 gets them working and learning.

I do find I use it a lot as pulling out my smartphone to do anything is just boring. I've been in tech my whole life and smartphones are just dull unimaginative tech now.

$200 for the 7th most expensive app + shitty device? Hell no, it literally has worse chip than my phone does from 3 years ago (which is around $100)
